Smoothie bowls are a great way to elevate your breakfast game. The great thing about smoothie bowls is that you can be as creative as you want. And when it comes to toppings you can let your creative chopping, cookie cutting, fruit and seed building, imagination run wild!
Our smoothie bowl recipe for today is really simple with two colours to make the bowl a visual feast for the eyes.
This morning's smoothie bowl is brought to you by:
1⃣ st half - We blended ½ a frozen banana and ½ a cup of pineapple in ½ a cup of coconut milk and added a tablespoon of our Balance superfood booster blend;
2⃣ nd half - We blended ½ a frozen banana and ½ a cup of frozen berries in a cup of coconut milk and added a teaspoon of Blue Spirulina (you can add less Blue Spirulina if you'd prefer).
We topped with slices of bananas cut into hearts, with a couple of raspberries and blueberries and some shaved toasted coconut.
We kept the ingredients fairly minimal when it came to this bowl. You might prefer to add more, and you can! Smoothie bowls are a delicious, nutritious and a feast for the eyes.
