Choc Berry & Cinnamon Smoothie

As the weather begins to cool, adding delicious ingredients such as cinnamon to smoothies is a great way to spice up your mornings. Honey is also an ingredient we like to add and we've found a local producer who infuses all sorts of yummies into their creamed honey including cinnamon - check out @beeallnaturalau.

We love berries in our smoothies, they are not only excellent sources of vitamins and minerals but they add gorgeous colour. The blueberries in this smoothie are packed full of antioxidants (anthocyanins) that support healthy brain function, heart health and lower the risk of high blood pressure. The addition of the blueberries to the Balance chocolate superfood booster base makes it the perfect Easter morning breakfast that the whole family will love. Make it for the kids and the whole family with the knowledge that they are all getting their nutrients without any fuss - they'll even think it's a special treat. It is THAT good!

½ a cup of organic blueberries

1 tsp Bee All Natural cinnamon infused creamed honey

1 frozen banana

1 cup of your favourite nut milk (we used almond milk)

1 tbsp Mabel & Joy Balance Superfood Booster blend

With a little cinnamon sprinkled on top

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Mix the fruit first with a little milk to break it all down, then add the rest of the milk and blend until smooth.

2. Pour into a beautiful glass and top with the cherries.
